Ernest Simien, Jr.

Ernest Simien Jr., 85, of Beaumont, TX died in a local care facility on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.   Ernest was born on March 8, 1930 in Lawtell, LA to Ernest and Alma Simien. He enjoyed spending time with his dog “Bruce”. Ernest loved helping people that couldn’t help themselves. He also loved donating his time and efforts to others.   He is survived by one son, Joseph Simien of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Clara Montgomery of Lake Charles, LA and Carolyn Duhon; and numerous nieces and nephews.     He is preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings.   A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
