Esther Mae Davis, born on December 12, 1935, daughter of the late Robert and Mandy (Jones) Davis, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the age of 85.
Esther was a member of Lambert Chapel, where she served as an usher and stewardess. She loved cooking for her family and watching soap operas, especially Days of our Lives.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Nelson Davis, and granddaughter, Andre` Davis.
Survivors are her two sons, Derrick (Joslynne) Davis and Robert Lee Davis and companion, Juanita; three sisters, Dorothy Hill, Thelma Jones, and Velma Binkley; granddaughter, Monica Davis and great-granddaughter, Zoe McDaniel and a host of family and friends that will mourn her passing.
A Gathering of friends and family will begin on Friday, January 15, 2021 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 5 p.m. until 7 pm., with a Memorial service at 6 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
As per the request of the family, face coverings will be required.
