Eugene Paul Richard, Sr.

Eugene Paul Richard, Sr., 82 of Sulphur passed away on June 11, 2015. He was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, The Garden Angels and the Knights of Columbus. Eugene served his country in the U S Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Eugene will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Eugene is survived by his wife of 64 years, Avita Richard of Sulphur; a daughter, Anita Quibodeaux of Sulphur; a son, Hilton Richard and wife April of Sulphur; 4 grandchildren, Clint Gene Richard, Kelly Nicole Debenport, Nicky Jo Richard and Colt Lee Richard; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nasta and Alida Richard; a son, E.J. Richard; and 9 sibling. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Patrick LaPointe officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 5-9 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 8 A.m. until time of the service.
