Eunice Trahan Guidry

Eunice Trahan Guidry, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, surrounded by her family, at the age of 90.
Eunice was the daughter of the late Ozime and Levina LaBove (Trahan). She got married at the young age of 15 to the love of her life, Danis Guidry and they were together for 71 years. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and caring for her children and grandchildren. She had a passion for creating flower arrangements for her home and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Rogers Guidry; son-in-law, Donald Dies; siblings, Euna Mae Guidry; Rodney and Earl Trahan.
Eunice is survived by her daughters, Judy Dies of Shreveport, Tammy Babineaux (Glenn) of Moss Bluff; siblings, Emma Lean Crochet (Milton); Lena Bell Crader; Earline Pago (Joe); Peggy Hartzog (Gilbert); Willard P. Trahan (Peggy); Mason Trahan; 7 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will begin in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m., with a rosary recited at 3 p.m. by Rev. Roland Vaughn. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
