Evelyn Badon Cormier

Evelyn Ann Badon Cormier, 72, of Moss Bluff passed away at 2:08 PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Cormier was born on May 19, 1946 in Johnson Bayou and lived in Moss Bluff for the past 30 years. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. Mrs. Cormier was a devoted wife and stay at home mother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Carlton Cormier of Moss Bluff; son, Troy Daigle of Lake Charles; daughters, Katrina Hebert (Ricky) of LeBleu Settlement and Michelle Cormier of Moss Bluff; siblings, Ray Badon of Johnson Bayou, Barbara Ann Landry of Lake Charles, Stella Stoute (CJ) of Erath, Joseph “Jim” Badon (Gloria) of Sulphur, and Alice Broussard (Sterling) of Lake Charles; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Alpha Badon; and siblings, Raymond Shirley Badon, Jeanette Badon Trahan, Irene Badon Trahan, Harold “Blue” Badon, and Loyd Badon.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Head of the Hollow Cemetery in Johnson Bayou. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will be in Johnson Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM.
