Evelyn Bourque Prince

Lake Charles-Evelyn Bourque Prince, 88, passed away in a local care center April 22, 2015.
Evelyn was born July 31, 1926 in Kaplan to the late Ovey and Marie Whittington Bourque. In 1993 Ms. Prince retired from United Artist. After retirement, she moved to her family home in Abbeville, LA. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Joyce Elaine Douglas of Lake Charles, Shelia Williams of Lynnwood, WA and Carl Prince Sackett of Edmonds, WA; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Louise Hebert of Port Arthur, TX; and a host of niece and nephews.
She is preceded in death by 2 sons, Allen Prince, Sr., Gary Prince, and daughter, Carolyn King; parents; 5 sisters and 1 brother; 2 son-in-laws; 1 granddaughter, Jennifer Prince and 1 grandson, Allen Prince, Jr.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 1 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Lamar Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Saturday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
