LeBleu Settlement ~ Everett J. Fruge, Jr. “E.J.”, born on November 30, 1944 in Lake Charles, son of the late Everett and Clara (LeBleu) Fruge, Sr., passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 75.
E.J. attended First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff and worked as an operator for Calcasieu Parish until he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Fruge of LeBleu Settlement; sons, Kenneth Fruge and wife Tish of Keenesburg, CO, James Fruge and wife Tommie Jo of Ragley; sisters, Cora Arville of LeBleu Settlement, Lillie Ryan and husband Butch of Hecker; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Beau Guidry officiating. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and will resume on Friday at 8 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
