Evolia Marie Boudreaux Broussard, born in Creole on March 27, 1948, daughter of the late Rayme and Lenora Richard Boudreaux, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the age of seventy-six.
Evolia, a graduate of Johnson Bayou High School, and attended Christ the King Catholic Church. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, tending to her flowers, being with family and visiting with friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Christine Boudreaux, Paul Sandrus Boudreaux, John Butler Boudreaux, and Rayme Lee Boudreaux; father of her children, Adam Lee Broussard, companion of twenty years, Adam Thibodeaux, and beloved pet, Nikki Lee.
Survivors are her children, Sonia Augustine (Jon), Marlena Broussard, Shelton Broussard (Billie), and Shelly Cohen (Steven); sister, Marilyn Penn (T-Boy); grandchildren, Darryl Allen Miller, Zavier Theriot, Dalton Broussard, and Grace Cohen; great-grandchild, Trapp Theriot, with one on the way.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart of Creole Cemetery. Visitation begins Monday in the chapel from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. and will resume Tuesday in the chapel from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
