Fay Marcantel Savant

Fay Marcantel Savant, born on July 10, 1948 in Kinder, daughter of Eugene Fredrick Marcantel and Hazel Mary Miller Marcantel, passed away March 9, 2025 at the age of seventy-six.
A graduate of Fenton High School, she loved to read, dance and listen to swamp pop music.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandfather, Claude Miller, baby sister, Judy Marcantel Yates and nephew-in-law, Tim Ardoin, and her beloved dog, Hedi.
Survivors are sisters, Lois Helen Marcantel Babineaux (Donald), Lottie Marcantel Campbell, Jean Marcantel Hall (Hank); niece, Ericka Dane Babineaux (who took care of her unselfishly, even if sometimes the “Miller” came out and she did not want to do or not do what she needed to. Also, Glenda for supporting Erika throughout Fay’s sickness, as well as numerous
nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. There are no services scheduled.
