Frances Marie Kilpatrick Fleniken

Frances Marie Kilpatrick Fleniken of Sulphur, LA passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026 at the age of 78.

Frances was born in Corpus Christi, TX on September 29, 1948 to Charles Sr. and Mildred Kilpatrick. She attended McNeese State University, where she earned her degree in education. She went on to teach special education for 30 years at F.K. White Middle School. She was also the mother of two wonderful boys, Mark and Matthew Fleniken. During retirement, Frances, enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved to visit with her friends, paint and read. She left this world leaving a lasting impression on all she met.

She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Mark Fleniken (Tracey) of Baton Rouge and Matthew Fleniken (Rebecca) of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Lauren, Noah, Emma, and Eli Fleniken.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2026 in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
