Frank Heape

Frank Eugene Heape, 67, passed away on September 6, 2026. If you knew him, you either loved him or you didn't-there was no in-between, and he really didn't care what you thought! Frank was a straight shooter who spoke his mind, but at his core, he was a fantastic father who raised his son, Christopher, to have a strong work ethic and a heart for helping others. He had a real passion for lending a hand whenever he could, and it truly bothered him when he felt he couldn't be there for those in need.A lover of all things outdoors, Frank was especially fond of fire-whether it was clearing fields, tending to burn piles, he found joy in it. Gardening was another passion; there was always something growing in his yard. You could often find him riding his lawn mower or cruising on his motorcycle, enjoying the freedom of nature.To honor Frank's life, a funeral service will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home in Sulphur, Louisiana, starting at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and run until the service begins. He will then be laid to rest at Mimosa Pines South in Carlyss.
