Frank "Pete" C. Foreman

Nov 15, 1951 — Oct 17, 2026

Iowa, LA

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frank "Pete" C. Foreman, who left us on October 17, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on November 15, 1951, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Pete was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather who dedicated his life to those he loved.

Pete was a proud graduate of Iowa High School and spent his early years working as a skipper in the tugboat industry. For many years, Pete owned and operated Pete's Pak‑A‑Snack, a small business he poured his heart into. His store became a gathering place for neighbors, friends, and anyone who needed a warm hello or a helping hand.

An active member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Pete found great joy in his faith and community. He enjoyed shrimping, hunting, and fishing, often spending time in the great outdoors, fulfilling his passion for nature. He was also known for his love of cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, believing that food was a way to bring people together. Those who knew him will fondly remember his jovial spirit, his laughter, and his knack for "bossing people around" with a heart full of love.

Until his passing, Pete, along with his brother Tony, devotedly cared for their father, Frank E. Foreman, demonstrating the deep bond of family that defined his life.

Pete leaves behind his cherished daughter, Natasha Moreau; sons, Sconnie Granger (Michelle) and Robert Scott Holmes; brother Lester Anthony "Tony" Foreman; as well as grandchildren, Aiden Granger, Reed Granger, Bryce Granger, Charlie Cook (Alia), Courtney Beckham (Tommy), and great-grandchildren, Noah Cook and Milo Cook. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in all who knew him.

A Mass in Pete's honor will be conducted at St. Raphael Catholic Church on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM, burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, October 23, 2026 beginning at 4:00 PM, a rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, and a cursillo rosary will follow at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday in the funeral from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM.

In these moments of sorrow, let us come together to celebrate the life of a remarkable man whose spirit will forever resonate in our hearts.

Frank "Pete" was preceded in death by his parents, Frank E. Foreman and Mary Dauzat Foreman.
