Freddie Joseph Trahan, 74, of Lake Charles, LA passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017. Freddie was born on December 23, 1942 to Onzemie and Eva Bourque Trahan in Lake Charles, LA.
Freddie was born and raised in Lake Charles. He was a mechanic for most of his life and was known for his ability to fix things that weren’t even broken. He was most creative when he had a roll of duct tape in his hands. He loved to fish and will be remembered for his ability to tell a good story.
Mr. Trahan is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 54 years, Loretta, along with their two daughters, Michelle Godsey (David) and Annie Lanclos (Chad). He also leaves eight grandchildren to cherish his memory.
Freddie’s family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, December 16, 2017, from 11AM-2PM. Cremation afterwards has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
