Gail Netherland

Gail Naquin Netherland born September 16, 1962, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born to Russell and Evelyn Naquin, Sr. of Lake Charles. Gail enjoyed flea markets, crafting, and spending time with her family.  Although she was tiny and frail, she gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.  She will always be remembered as the sassy and outspoken one.

Gail worked along side her mother as a secretary at Union National Life Insurance for years.   She also owned a flea market for a short time.

She is survived by her husband and best friend of 32 years, Terry Netherland; her children, Clay (Amber) Netherland, Rodney (Shanna) Savage, Leah (Ricky) Caldwell, Cody (Brandi) Savage, and Russell (Jamee) Netherland; grandchildren, Brock, Anika, and Calista Netherland, Ethan, Macaela, London, Jace, Anna, and Andie Savage, Deuce Darbonne II, Levi Netherland, Kaylee and Dylan Thibodeaux; her sisters, Edith Naquin Harless, Nancy Naquin Carlton and Peggy Naquin Banley; sister in law, Gloria Trabeaux Naquin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Evelyn Naquin, Sr.; brother, Russell Naquin, Jr.; nephew Fallon Naquin and maternal grandmother Lona Mae Parker.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
