Gardner Wayne Lacombe

Gardner Wayne LaCombe, 67, died Thursday, June 9, 2016 in his residence.

Gardner was born on November 21, 1948 in Lake Arthur, LA to Theo and Ida LaCombe. Gardner enjoyed fishing, wood working, and mowing grass. He also enjoyed his time as a truck driver for 22 years of his life.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Veronica LaCombe Hoffpauir and husband Travis of Lake Arthur, LA, Jamie Gronda and husband Jeff of Michigan, and Laurie Young of Idaho; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Michael LaCombe of Jennings, LA; as well as three sisters, Dorothy Meyers, Willa Mae LaCombe, and Earline Cormier.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Theo and Ida LaCombe and two brothers, Issac and Oran LaCombe.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until 2:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur, LA.
