Garland Guidry

Garland Guidry, 54, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 in a local hospital.
Garland was born May 11, 1961 to George and Alice Guidry. He graduated from Bell City High and was employed in the oilfield. Garland enjoyed fishing, hunting and spoiling his nieces & nephews with ice cream time.
He is survived by his son, Blake Guidry of LeBlanc; parents, George & Alice Hoffpauir Guidry of Bell City; brothers, Ricky Guidry (Virginia) of Hayes, Gordon Guidry (Lottie) of Hayes and Earl Guidry (Tina) of Welsh; niece & nephews, Christopher and Ryan Guidry, Laura Guidry Taylor & Holly Guidry; great-nieces & nephews, Maddux, Paisley, Hayden, Ellie and Klancie. Garland is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Luah & Ales Guidry; maternal grandparents, James Allen & Marilia Hoffpauir and niece, Faith Guidry.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in St. John Vianney on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Lorrain DeRouen Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation was Friday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home and continues, today, Saturday from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
