Garry Clay Cole

April 8, 1963 — March 2, 2018

Garry Clay Cole, 54, of Moss Bluff, LA passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018, following an accident in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Cole was born April 8, 1963, to Gabriele “Omie” Cole and Garry Augustus Cole in Heidelberg, Germany. Clay graduated from West Monroe High School and later moved to Moss Bluff. He worked for Rimcor for 33 years as a superintendent in industrial brick masonry. Clay had a kind and compassionate soul and never met a stranger. He was always ready with a hug and a smile. Clay loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. He was extremely proud of his daughters and grandchildren and will long be remembered for the genuine love he bestowed upon his family and friends, all of which made the lives of many so much brighter. As he passes from this life to a better one, Clay’s kind spirit will be greatly missed but will live on in the lives of those who loved him.

Clay was preceded in death by his mother, Gabriele Erna Cole and stepfather, Ronnie Stewart.

Left to reflect on his many memories are his wife, Kay Lynn Picard Cole; daughters, Melissa Yvonne LeBleu, Shelby Elizabeth Cole, and Jessika Lynn Cole; grandchildren, Carter James Soileau, Addyson Brae Hackley, Brant Matthew Hackley, and Royer Blake Trahan; his father, Garry Augustus Cole and stepmother, Beverly Cole; his sister, Gina Cole and her companion, Brett Burgueno; nephew, Damian (Kacee) Barrios and their children, Marlee and Madison; as well as numerous friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Johnson and Brown Funeral Home in Iowa, LA. Rev. Paul Picard of Dickson, TN, will officiate. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home – Iowa.
