Gary L. Faul

Gary Lee Faul, age 70, passed away on March 17, 2026, in Katy, Texas, due to complications from Alzheimer's disease and early-onset dementia.

He was born on September 22, 1955, in Kinder, Louisiana, to the late Clofa and Winnis Faul.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dennes; his children, Jeffrey (Kendra), Eric (April), and Bryan (Amanda); his grandchildren, Conner, Ethan, and Cora; his sister, Rosanna (Donald); his brother, Ronnie (Wanda); in laws Mike (Beth), DeAnn (Frank) and Pat (Evelyn) and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly.

Gary graduated from McNeese State University in 1978 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent 38 years working as an engineer in the oil and gas industry with Conoco before retiring in 2015. He was well known and respected among his colleagues in the engineering world and, through his outgoing and friendly personality, turned many of his work relationships into lasting friendships.

He will be remembered as a kind and patient man who loved spending time outdoors gardening, fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends. One of his greatest joys was being "PawPaw" to his grandchildren.

A viewing will take place at Johnson's Funeral Home in Moss Bluff from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on March 24, 2026, followed by a rosary from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.

Funeral services will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Ragley, Louisiana, on March 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with graveside services to follow at LeBleu Cemetery in Fenton, LA.
