Gary Wayne Kennedy

Gary Wayne Kennedy, 59, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2026.

Gary loved to hunt and fish and had a habit of collecting things. He enjoyed clothes, music, and was especially influenced by Elvis. He was a practical joker and could fix just about anything. He was mechanically minded and, if something had moving parts, he could usually figure out how it worked.

Gary was a simple man who enjoyed the things he enjoyed. To those closest to him, he was always sure to say, "I love you."

He is survived by his children, Kourtney Guillotte (Andrew) and Kendall Kennedy (Quincy); grandchildren, Anthony and Bodie Guillotte, and Ella Kennedy and Hayes Kennedy; and his siblings, Kim Roy (Sherwin) and Kurt Kennedy (Stephanie).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Merella Kennedy.

A private gathering for family will be held at a later date.
