Gary Manuel

Gary Glynn Manuel, born April 5, 1952, passed away on November 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Gary grew up in Kinder, Louisiana, where he attended Fenton High School. After high school, he attended college for a year, earning a trade certificate. He began his working years as a farmer before eventually trading in the farm life for a career as a truck driver. Gary also spent many years serving as a police reservist.

An outdoorsman at heart, Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time riding his side-by-side. One of his favorite things to do was to cook at the deer lease for all of his friends and family who were there. When he wasn't outdoors enjoying the things he loved, he could usually be found watching his favorite Western television shows. He also enjoyed Mardi Gras and looked forward to riding horses in local parades each year.

Above all, Gary was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who always put his family first. His family meant everything to him, and he will be dearly missed by those who loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty four years Dlaine Martin Manuel; his children, Robert Manuel and wife Kellie; Brandon Manuel and his wife, Diana; and Crystal Ramie and her husband, David; and his grandchildren, Wyatt, Morgan, Haley, Jase, Brice, Kylee, Zachary, Lily, Jubilee, and Max.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
