Gene B. Little

Gene B. Little, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 14, 2015. Mrs. Little, loved spending time gardening and teaching about the Lord. She was a missionary in Burundi Africa for 25 years and authored a book about her missionary experiences, Slow Mail With Love. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memories are her 3 son's and 2 daughters-in-law, Kerry and Sheron Little of Mobile, AL, Glen and Janice Little of Brandon, MS, Eldon Little of Houma, LA; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Little is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy T. Little; parents, Ivy Jefferson and Silvia Watson Bailey; 2 sons, Bruce and Gerald Little; Brother, Roland Bailey. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 PM Friday September 18, 2015 from Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA, with Rev. Billy Harrell and Rev. Doug Feazell officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-9 PM and on Friday from 10 AM till time of service.
