Genevieve "Genny" Ogea Leboeuf
October 11, 1943 — October 13, 2024
Genevieve "Genny” Ogea LeBoeuf, born on October 11, 1943, daughter of the late Jasper and Gladys Babineaux Ogea, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 81.
Genny was a graduate of Grand Lake High School, class of 1961. She worked as a secretary at St. Patrick Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing the organ, and crocheting.
Genny is survived by her son, Troy LeBoeuf (Lois); daughter, Crissy LeBoeuf Black; grandchildren, Stephanie Odell, Justin Odell, Jonathon Odell (Kailen), Neil Mallett, Anna Stanley (Aaron), and Justin Mallett (Marlana); great-grandchildren, Hunter, Keaton Wayne, Wyatt, Kaison, Karson, Sully, Gambit, Julia, Nolan, Halen & Hendrix; god daughters, Susan Hebert (Don), Margaret Burgess (Robert), Desiree Gaynor (Patrick); brother, Herman Ogea (Kathy). She is also survived by an abundance of nieces, nephews, family and treasured friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Henry “G. H.” LeBoeuf; parents; siblings, Earl Ogea, Lorraine Baccigalopi, and Earlene Romero Woolsey.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 at 3 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Rev. Jom Joseph, Celebrant. Visitation will begin Friday at 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. with a rosary recited at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow the gathering of friends and family.
