George Dale Taylor

George D Taylor, “Pawpaw”, 88, of Sulphur, LA passed away August 23, 2020 in a local hospital. George was born on September 6, 1931 in Waverly, Missouri. He was stationed at Chenault Airforce Base for 4 years and stayed in Louisiana because he loved the weather, hunting, and fishing. He also loved gardening and wood working. He was a retired boiler maker for Local # 79 after 30 years of service.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Liz Taylor; daughter, Debbie Walton and husband Lester; son, Tim Taylor and wife Mary; stepson, Doug Bowman and wife Myrna; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren. According to his wishes he will be cremated due to Covid-19 and a small family service will be held in his memory.

A memorial service will be held for the family at 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin from 3:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
