George Louis Waldmeier Iii

George Louis Waldmeier III, 66 of Sulphur passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at a local hospital.  Mr. Waldmeier was born on November 14, 1954, in Lake Charles, to the late Louis and Patricia Waldmeier.

George was a resident of this area for most of his life.  He worked as an auto technician for Walmart for 16 years before retiring.  He loved to fish with his son and brother and working in his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Waldmeier; and one sister, Susan Waldmeier.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his wife of 18 years, Beverly Waldmeier; one son, Louis Waldmeier; three sisters, Kathleen Applebaum, Sally Pickering, and Patricia Waldmeier; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service for George will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home, 3448 5^th Ave. Lake Charles.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 am.  Reverend Marcus Wade will officiate.
