George Henry Lovett, Jr., born in Lake Charles on September 30, 1959, son of the late George and Mable (Clark) Lovett, Sr., passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the age of 64.
George loved all types of music, kids, and coffee. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Survivors are his brother, Reggie Lovett, Sr. and wife, Donna; sister, Brenda Sue Taylor and husband, Kennedy; nieces and nephews, Reggie, Jr. (Katie), Laura (Brandy), Desiree (Michael), and Chandler (Kaitlyn); Kelly (John), Kennedy, Jr. (Kalynn), Kaleb (Paulina), Kidron (Leah), Kadesh, Kennan, KB (Esley), Kammen (Keona), Kourtney, Kaylee, Kimberly, Khloee; great-nieces and nephews, Aidan, Brock, Conner, Scarlett, Ian, Rayd’n, Ily, Triston, Kyle, Alexia, Savannah, Clark, Avalynn, Vivian, and one on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 10 a.m. Rev. Ronney Partin, officiant. Burial will follow in Birdnest Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin in the funeral home on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., and will resume Tuesday at 8 a.m.
