Lake Charles – George Eugene Newman, born February 12, 1962, son of the late George C. and Maxie V. (Wedgeworth) Newman, passed away in his residence on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the age of 58.
George loved collecting different things and listening to the music.
George is survived by his wife, Judy Newman; step-daughter, Charlene Murphy (Jimmie); brother, Robert Newman; sister, Laurie Guillory; Vickie LeBleu (Paul); god son, Chester Newman; god daughters, Ricky LeBleu, Jodi Melder. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Maxine Marsh; Martha Fontenot; Mary Busby; Otis Newman and Hugh Newman.
His cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. As per his request, there will be no formal services.
