Georgia Wait

Georgette Wait, 59, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in a local hospital.

She was born to George and Irene Wait in Killeen, Texas on January 18, 1962.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and was extremely generous, caring, and stubborn. She also enjoyed having a good time with good friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Joseph Wait; grandson, Christopher Jake O’Reilly; sister, Debbie Wait; many cherished friends in Louisiana, Delaware, and around the world; and beloved dog, The Dude.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Michael Hamilton; and sister, Priscilla Cormier.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
