Gerald D. Daigle, 66, passed away in a local hospital, Thursday, May 19, 2016.
He was born in Welsh to the late Levi J. and Beatrice (Cary) Daigle on June 16, 1949. Gerald was a graduate of Lacassine High School and McNeese State University. He worked as a rice farmer and later as a salesman for Riverside Chemicals.
He is survived by his sons, Jo Bob Daigle, wife, Daina and James “Kelly” Daigle, wife, Jessica; brother, Merlin J. Daigle, and grandchildren, Hayden Wade Daigle, Brynlee Marie Daigle and Kelsey Daigle. Preceding him in death are his parents and sister, Glenda Daigle DeRouen.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home, Monday, May 23, 2016 at 6 p.m. with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Visitation is Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.
