Kinder ~ Gilbert Joseph Thibodeaux, Sr., 64, of Kinder, passed away in his residence on Sunday, November 8, 2020.
Gilbert was born February 29, 1956, and the son of the late Lester and Eula Mae (Chapman) Thibodeaux. Gilbert worked for Nissan of Lake Charles and in his spare time, enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gilbert Joseph “Joey” Thibodeaux, Jr.; siblings, Gloria Veillon; Patricia Hebert; Joyce Fontenot; Herbert Thibodeaux and Edward “Sonny Boy” Thibodeaux.
Gilbert is survived by his wife, Starlett “Jeannie” Thibodeaux; daughter, Trista Ann Thibodeaux-Pujol (Mitchel); step-son, Dennis Manuel (Elizabeth); siblings, Hubert Thibodeaux; Tommy Thibodeaux; Elsworth Thibodeaux (Mary Sue); Lester “Junior” Thibodeaux; William “Willy” Thibodeaux (Melissa); Wanda Faye Manning; Susan Marie Roosa and Ann Thibodeaux; 5 grandchildren.
His cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A private gathering will be held at a later date.
