Gladys Marie Moreau

Gladys Marie Moreau, born in Lacassine on July 15, 1941, daughter of the late Euell and Rose Arceneaux Granger, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the age of eighty-three.
A graduate of Bell City High School, and a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Lacassine, where she was a Catholic daughter. Gladys enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, crafting, flowers, and loved animals.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney Moreau; brother, Curtis Granger; daughter in law, Sherri Moreau.
Survivors are her sons, Timothy Moreau, Glenn Moreau (Jack Heffington); brother, Ernest Granger (Renee); sister, Adeline Navarre (Charles); grandchildren, Anna Moreau, and Logan Moreau.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 10 a.m. Rev. Jom Joseph, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Broussard Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins on Sunday in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. and resume Monday in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 9:15 a.m.
