Glenda Marie Smith Huber

Glenda Marie Smith Huber of Lake Charles, Louisiana, departed this life on November 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 26 years, Mark Huber; her parents, Horace and Betty Smith; and her grandson, Tyler Rogers.

Glenda was a graduate of LaGrange High School and San Diego Community College, earning a degree in Business Administration.

She cherished moments spent with friends over coffee at her kitchen table and was an active participant in women’s recovery initiatives.

Those left to cherish her memory were her children, Michelle Mudd (Terry) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Dennis Morrell (Denise) of Iowa, Louisiana, and Jeff Morrell (Patricia) of Sulphur, Louisiana; three step-children, Nicole Clayton of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Dominic LeDoux of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Matthew Huber. Glenda had seven grandchildren, Lauren Bowers, Hunter Bowers, Katelynn Morrell Bartley (James), Miranda Paiz, Zachary Paiz, Ethan Paiz, and Cassie Little. She also had four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Lydia Williams of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Patricia Fairbanks (Bruce) of Humble, Texas.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Johnson’s Funeral Home in Lake Charles, immediately followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
