Glinda D Mccoy

Glinda Dugas McCoy,76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in her residence with her family at her side.

She grew up in Carlyss and was a 1963 Sulphur High School Graduate. Glinda worked for South Central Bell Telephone Company until she started her family. She loved being a “stay at home Mom”, crocheting, listening to music, and reading. And of course, she always enjoyed talking with family and friends. Glinda will be remembered as a loving and caring person.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katie Dugas; brother, Keith Dugas; sister, Lynda Menard; and niece, Lisa Barfield.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Robert Scott McCoy, Gerald Wayne McCoy, and John Patrick McCoy; sister, Patricia Shoults; two brothers, Lionel Dugas and David Dugas; nieces, Christie Campos, Brandi Smith, Amber Aymond, and Danette Aasheim; nephews, Wendel Menard, Michael Barfield, Shane Dugas, Shawn Dugas, Garon Dugas, and Bryon Dugas

Services for Glinda with be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur.  Visitation will be 10am – 10:30 am, Saturday.  Pastor C. M. Kelly will officiate. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Barfield, Shane Dugas, Shawn Dugas, Garon Dugas, Byron Dugas, Jeff LeDoux, and John Williams.
