Gloria Dola Cleaton

Gloria "Dola" Cleaton, 70, was called home on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Mrs. Cleaton was born on February 14, 1940 to John and Ethel Meaux Thomas in Sunset, LA.

Gloria was a retired licensed florist. She was an excellent quilter and painter. She loved growing any kind of flowers and plants. Gloria was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandma.

Those left to cherish her memories are her dedicated husband, James "Buddy" Cleaton, III of Iowa; her son, Randy LeBlanc of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, Rene'e (Bryan Keith) Williams and Ramona (Keith) Ortego, all of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica) Williams, Cody (Morgan) Williams, Carley Williams, Conner Williams, Gregory Ortego (Jessie Coker), Cameron, Aaron, and Jeffrey Ortego; great-grandchildren, Christain and Landon Williams; brother, John (Barbara) Thomas of Buena Vista, TX; mother-in-law, Gertie Cleaton; sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Thomas; and sons, Rory and Ross LeBlanc.

Her visitation will be 3:30 to 5:30 PM, with a memorial service at 5:30 PM by Father Keith Pellerin, and a rosary at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.
