Gordy "Ed" Edgar Perry

Gordy “Ed” Edgar Perry, 76, of Lake Charles, LA Thursday, August 4, 2016 in a local hospital.

Ed was born on September 6, 1939 in Lafayette, LA to Gardy and Mary Lou Perry. He enjoyed building bird houses, wood working, raising cats, and traveling.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 34 years, Maria Perry of Lake Charles, LA; four children, Deborah Perry Cullen and husband Doug, Renee Perry Kulas and husband Paul, Charles Perry and Randall Perry; grandchildren, Chase Dickinson and Justin Kulas; two siblings, Louise Perry Timpa and Ron Perry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dean Perry.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 8, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 9:00 AM until time of service. A graveside burial of Mr. Perry’s cremated remains will be at 1:00 PM August 8, 2016 at Highland Cemetery.
