Iowa – Grace Richard, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, born March 25, 1949, daughter of the late Rueben James and Enola (Sonnier) Arnold, passed away in a local hospital on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at the age of 71.
Grace devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. Family was everything to her!
When her health allowed, she attended St. Raphael Catholic Church with her family.
Grace leaves to cherish her wonderful memory her husband of 44 years, John “Danny” Richard, Jr.; children, Rita; Melissa; Susan (David); Rueben (Theresa); Christina (Vernon); Christopher (Samantha); siblings, Patricia; Sheila; Larry; Cynthia; Patrick; Pat Ray; and numerous grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Martha and Jimmy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., with a rosary recited by Rev. Roland Vaughn at 3:30 p.m. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Due to new restrictions from the State of Louisiana, Governor John Bel Edwards, the gathering capacity will be limited and face coverings will be required.
