Grant Wade Gremillion, 47, was taken to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Grant was born July 5th, 1974 in Sulphur, Louisiana to his loving parents Gail (Vincent O’Quinn) and Gordon Gremillion.
He spent his early childhood growing up in Choupique, Louisiana where he learned the work ethic of a cowboy and the ways of a country kid. He would later move to Hackberry to finish out his High School Career. Shortly after graduation, Grant married his high school sweetheart, Gieselle, and they were nearing 28 years together.
Grant was an electrician by trade, he started his career with an internship with Lake Charles Electric. For the last 21 years Grant has held many titles at Targa Resources (formerly known as Dynegy), here he started as an I&E tech and worked his way to his current role as Pipeline Supervisor.
While Grant was dedicated to his work, he was also a loving husband and father. Grant has two children Genee’ (22) and Gunner (18) who he would be proud to spend hours talking about their accomplishments. Genee’ is a graduate of Stage One Cosmetology School, and Gunner will be starting his Senior year at Sulphur High School.
Grant had many hobbies, among them were fishing, hunting and strumming a guitar with his brothers, but anyone who knew Grant knew the majority of his time was spent following his children around to their multiple activities. As they were growing up Grant could either be found coaching on the sidelines or as their biggest cheerleader in the stands.
While his family and friends are saddened by the loss, they are thankful for the life they were able to share with him. Grant was the life of the party, and leaves behind many to cherish his memories.
Grant is survived by his wife, Gieselle; His Children, Genee’ and Gunner Gremillion, his parents; Gordon (Shayne) Gremillion and Gail Vincent O’Quinn, two brothers and their children Gary (Jammie) Gremillion and Grey (Becky) Gremillion.
