Haley Spicer

April 17, 1988 — October 8, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Haley Nicole Spicer, age 37, who peacefully went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2025, in Hackberry, Louisiana.

Haley was born on April 17, 1988, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Randy Wright and the late Ruby Wright. She was raised in the close-knit community of Hackberry, Louisiana, where she graduated from Hackberry High School and built lifelong friendships that would endure throughout her life.

On November 15, 2009, Haley married the love of her life, Travis Spicer, and together they built not only a beautiful home in 2013, but a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children: Madden, born June 14, 2010, and Harlyn, born October 24, 2013. Haley's heart grew even larger four years ago when she opened her home and heart to her niece, Ruby Mullinax, whom she raised as her own child with the same boundless love and dedication she gave to Madden and Harlyn.

Haley worked in procurement at Incora, where she was respected by her colleagues for her dedication and professionalism. However, her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a mother. She never missed a baseball or basketball game, cheering loudly from the sidelines as she watched her children pursue their passions.

Those who knew Haley will remember her as someone who was kind, selfless, and full of love for everyone around her. She brought warmth, laughter, and light wherever she went, and her compassion touched every life she crossed. Haley found joy in life's simple pleasures: fishing with her family, tending to her garden alongside her father Randy, taking memorable beach trips with loved ones, and hosting social gatherings where friends always felt welcome. Her home was a place where love abounded and memories were made.

Haley is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 16 years, Travis Spicer; her beloved children, Madden Spicer and Harlyn Spicer; and her cherished niece, Ruby Mullinax, whom she loved as her own daughter. She also leaves behind her loving father, Randy Wright; her brothers, Tuan Murray (wife Brittney), Bubba Murray (wife Paige), Ricky Wright, and Brandon Watts; and her sisters, Casey Seay (husband Nicky) and Christie Murray; and her honorary sister, Megan Spicer. Haley also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ruby Wright, and her mother-in-law, Alicia Bodin.

Haley's legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched with her kindness, in the children she loved so deeply, and in the home filled with love that she and Travis built together. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her mother and mother-in-law and watching over all of us with the same love and protection she showed throughout her life.
