Hannah Lee Vincent, born September 10, 1993, daughter of David “Block” and Lee Ann (Marcantel) Vincent, passed away in Opelousas, Friday, May 25, 2018, at the age of 24.
Hannah was a graduate of Iowa High School and earned a B. S. in Agriculture Business from Louisiana Tech University. She was a member of the Louisiana Agriscience Teachers Association and taught agriculture at Opelousas High School for 2 years. Her joyful spirit and smile will be missed by all.
Hannah is survived by her parents, David “Block” and Lee Ann Marcantel Vincent of Iowa; brother, Colin David Vincent; maternal grandparents, David Lee and Virginia Marcantel of Iowa; uncles, D. Carson Marcantel (Carol) of Baton Rouge, Allen Ray Vincent (Erika) of Lake Charles, James Vincent (Drucilla) of Grand Chenier; cousins, Diana & Laura Marcantel, Kass & Kinnon Vincent, Kirsten Fincher (William). She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Manson and Elora Vincent.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton, Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation is Monday in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. and will resume Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
