Iowa-Harold Lee Corbello, 77, stepped into Glory at 5:05 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Harold was born September 8, 1936 to the late Carl DeWitt and Eula Mae Johnson Corbello in Iowa. He was a graduate of Fenton High School and a member of the Church of the Promise in Iowa. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a master mechanic for over 30 years. He worked for many years at Martin GMC and was the owner of Corbello Trucking & Tractor Service and retired in 1999.The love of his life was his wife. He was a family man that loved camping and fishing. He retired and moved back to his family farm where he was able to care for his father in his last years. Harold enjoyed being in the country, riding his 4-wheeler, cooking, visiting, family outings and gardening.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Geraldine Hawkins Corbello; children, Patti Corbello Archer of Iowa, Ricky Corbello and wife, Ronda of Moss Bluff, Kevin Corbello and wife, Toni of Moss Bluff, and Julie Corbello Giordano of Cleveland, TN; sisters, Evelyn C. Mullins of Houston, TX and Gloria C. Dailey and husband, Doug of Omaha, NE ; grandchildren, Zebulon Manuel and wife, Cora, Natalie Corbello, Whitney Corbello Laakso and husband, Paul, Alex Corbello and fiancé, Cade Doucet, Baylee Corbello, Jeno Giordano, Jade Giordano and Ernest Celestie; great-grandchildren, Alayna Manuel, Grayson Doucet and Triston Mooney. He is preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Inez M. Corbello; infant sister, and grandson,
