Harold Earl Featherston

Harold Earl Featherston, 93, passed away peacefully in Baytown, TX on September 26, 2018.

He was born on October 1, 1924 in Doniphan, Missouri to Jess and Zetta Ponder Featherston. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, and watching the Houston Astros.

He is survived by his two daughters, Angela Rawson (Jimmie) and Lisa Newman (Scott); 24 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Marge Young; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved caretaker, Tina Schamp.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Mabel Featherston; daughters, Karon Williams and Jacolyn LeDoux; son, Ronald Stephens; his parents; and brothers and sisters.

His funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1 PM. Father Samuel Orsot will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery following the service under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 PM until 8 PM with a rosary to be recited at 6 PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the start of the service.
