Harrison Noel James

Harrison Noel James, 2 day old infant of Blake Ryan and Shania Sanchez James, passed away in the early morning of November 11, 2024 in a local hospital. 

Harrison was born early and unexpectedly in Sulphur on November 9, 2024. Harrison was transferred to a Lake Charles hospital where he valiantly fought to overcome his young birth age. 

He leaves his loving parents, Blake and Shania James, of Sulphur; maternal grandparents, Noel and Shauna Emerick Sanchez, DeRidder and maternal great grandmother Donna Emerick Sewinsky, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Jason and Renee Williams James, Moss Bluff; paternal great grandparents, Herman Williams and wife Linda, Atascocita, Texas and Sue Ellen Roach, Lake Charles; aunts and uncles, Shelby and Wayne Hennigan, California; David Spann, Thibodeaux; Tanner and Megan Sittig, California; Braedan and Megan James, Sulphur; Brittany and Allen Clark, Ohio; Mishelle Sanchez, Ohio; Nichole and Steve Cline; Ohio, and Salina Antes; Hawaii. Also, a plethora of cousins and great aunts/uncles.

A gathering of family and friends will be at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Thursday November 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Funeral Services officiated by his great grandfather, Herman Williams, will begin at 12:00 PM. 

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital and Christus Oschner’s Lake Area Medical Center’s Neo-Natal unit.
