Harry Cliff "Brud" Conner, Jr.

Harry Cliff “Brud” Conner, Jr., 69, of Lake Charles, LA died on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Harry was born on October 13, 1946 in Cameron, LA to Harry and Melina Conner.

He enjoyed hunting, traveling, and being around friends and family. Harry loved being around his grandchildren the most supporting them in various 4-H activities, livestock shows, and sporting events.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving sons, Todd Conner and wife Andrea of Lake Charles, LA and Chad Conner and wife Laynie of Pearland, TX; four grandchildren, Colby Conner, Makayla Conner, Kinley Conner, and Addyson Conner; mother, Melina Marie Conner of Lake Charles, LA; and sister, Linda Faye Galley and husband Elroy Trahan of Jennings, LA.

Harry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Gayle Conner and his father, Harry Cliff Conner, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a 6:30 PM rosary on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM until the time of service Saturday, October 15, 2016. Burial will be held at Prien Memorial Park. Father Keith Pellerin will officiate services.
