Harry Layne Hooper

Harry Layne Hooper, 51, of Moss Bluff, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. 

He was a graduate of Washington Marion C-O ’86. Harry was a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area. Harry worked as a construction builder, remodeling homes and repair work. Harry adored his family. 

He leaves behind a wife of twenty-seven years, Stephanie Arnold Hooper of Lake Charles; two children, Haleigh Hooper of Moss Bluff and Tanner and wife Sydney Hooper of Lake Charles; one grandchild, Ayden Hooper, his pride and joy; three sisters Rhonda and Ricky Rodrigue, Jackie and Rodney Knox, and Anna Hooper and Jeremy; three brothers, Albert Donald and Kim Hooper, Alfred David and Paige Hooper and Timothy, Jr. and Vivian Hooper; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy Hubert Hooper, Sr. and Louella Mae Benoit; and one brother, John Victor Doucet.

His memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Moss Bluff Senior Building, 2868 Hwy 171 N. The Rev. Pamela Benoit Savoie will officiate.
