Heather Ann Authement

Heather Ann Authement, 49, passed away on August 31, 2025 in Lake Charles, LA. She was born on July 29, 1976 to Ronald and Pam Pretto Authement in Lake Charles.

Heather was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She was a larger-than-life character who enjoyed road trips, good food and good times. She had a big heart, a snappy mouth and was quick to help those in need when she could. She will be missed and her memories cherished by those she loved and that loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Pam Authement; her brother, David Authement; as well as her extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, and the love of her life and longtime partner, Shannon Haese.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles Chapel, 4321 Lake Street. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
