Helen Marie Pete Breaux

Lake Charles – Helen Marie Breaux, 82, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on April 20, 2016.
Helen was born in Iota on September 25, 1933 to the late Mayo and Augustine Reed Pete. She enjoyed camping, crabbing and spending time with her family. Helen was a member of the Bluegrass Group of Lonepine and Church of the Promise.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Fruge (Wayne) of Jennings, Roxanne Huval (Ricky) of Moss Bluff, Sharen Miller (Patrick) and Karen Breaux all of Lake Charles; sister, Lillian Lopez of Jennings; grandchildren, Monica Comeaux, Alicia Kordish, Joshua Miller, Ricky “Bubba” Huval, Jr.; 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin H. Breaux; several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral with Rev. Dwayne Daigle officiating. Burial will follow in Bertrand Cemetery in Hathaway. Visitation begins Friday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
