Herman Sebastian Siegel

Herman Sebastian Siegel, 90, passed away on November 2, 2017 at his daughter’s residence.

Mr. Siegel was born on October 20, 1927 to Margaret and Frank Siegel in Michigan. He proudly served our great nation in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired from City Service after more than 30 years of service as a Process Operator. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Siegel enjoyed woodworking, making furniture, and traveling with his wife.

Mr. Siegel is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Kratzer (Bill) of Orange, TX; grandsons, Billy Kratzer, Jr., (Lori) of Orange, TX, Gary Kratzer (Julie) of Midlothian, VA, and Andy Kratzer of Tomball, TX; as well as his great grandchildren, Will, Caleb, Dallas, Carly, and Abby.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Siegel; and his parents; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

His funeral service will be on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Father Trey Ange will officiate. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Monday morning at 8:30 AM.
