Horace Garland "Nonk" Thibodeaux

Horace Garland “Nonk” Thibodeaux, 66, of Lake Charles, LA died peacefully on September 29, 2016 at Lake Charles Care Center.

Nonk was born on October 31, 1949 in Grand Lake, LA and lived there many years. Nonk loved celebrating his birthday on Halloween with his sister Sharon and his many nieces and nephews. He never met a stranger and loved everyone he met.

He is survived by his sister and loving caregiver, Sharon; brother in law, Carey J. Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Amette Roya Thibodeaux; brother, Homer; sisters, Andie and Eyvonne Thibodeaux, Mary Elta Fruge, Thelma Rogers and Emma Jean Bearb; niece Charlotte Fruge; and nephews, Richard and Lawrence Sonnier, Jody Bearb, and Charlie Rogers.

Burial will be in Grand Lake Cemetery. Private services are pending.
