Iowa ~ Howard Ray Mauldin, born May 1, 1948 in Morton, TX, son of the late Orvis and Mary (Caldwell) Mauldin, passed away in his residence on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at the age of 72.
Howard was a graduate of O’Donnell High School and retired from McKenzie Pest Control. He enjoyed watching western movies and spending time with his family.
Howard is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth Mauldin; children, Kellynda Osborne (Bill), Tracy Granger (John), Darcy Watson (Tiger); grandchildren, Chelsey Gress (Oscar), Celina Osborne, Justin Granger (Ashley), Seth Granger (Jadah), Amanda Granger, Jace Granger, Evan Watson (Madison), Brooke Watson (Jocoby Wilridge); great-grandchildren, Lillianne Gress, Lyzah, Lucy and Jiles Granger, Averi, Greyson and Andersyn Granger, Piper Watson, Layla Watson, Jayden Wilridge and future baby Wilridge; sister, Sandra Crow (Lanny); nephews, Dale York, Corey Crow; special friends, Sonny Richard, Arthur Malbrough, Mattie and Johnny Brassell, Brenda Dugas, Rose Bourque.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Charlene Lomax.
As per his request, cremation was entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa and there will be no formal services. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Bogata, Texas.
