Irene Kershaw

Irene Kershaw, 87, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2016 surrounded by her family.  She was a resident of Hackberry.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends. 

Irene is survived by her son, Roland (Pat) Kershaw and daughter, Mary Jean (Tim) Marnich; her grandchildren, Gerald, Kershaw, Caryn Morris, Melissa Cox,  Julie Vincent and Nicholas Marnich; sisters, Florence Carroll, Rose Clostio, Lena East and Ella Douget; one brother, Norris East; and 13 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Abel Kershaw; one son, Martin Kershaw; one grandson, Ronnie Kershaw; brothers, Roy, Ray, Raymond and Morris East; and sisters, Renna, and Leatha Dorris. 

Services for Irene will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11 am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry.  Burial will follow in Hackberry Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 4-9 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur with a rosary at 7 PM and will resume Saturday from 9 AM until we leave for the church.
