Isaac Calvin Mays, Jr.

Isaac "Ike" Calvin Mays, Jr., 52 passed away on January 3, 2015 in a local hospital. He was a native and life-long resident of the Sulphur area. "Ike" worked at Delta Downs for several years enjoying the horse racing action. He loved his children and spending time with his grandchildren. "Ike" is survived by his son, Kacey Mays; two daughters, Kaven and Keely Mays all of Sulphur; a sister, Tammy Hare and husband Craig of Albany, TX; 2 brothers, Roger and Ronnie Mays of Sulphur; 2 half-sisters, Rhonda Manard and husband Ross and Becky Doherty; and 2 grandchildren, Hollis and Hudson Ivey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Calvin Mays, Sr. and Martha Jane Hargrave Mays. A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 12 noon until time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur.
